The GoPro HD Hero camera housing, and the GoPro 3D system housing have curved lenses. The curved lens doesn't allow the GoPro camera to focus underwater, resulting in all underwater video coming out blurry. The fix for the GoPro underwater focus / blurry problem is a flat lens that replaces the original curved lens. This video demonstrates the easy installation of the flat lens in the GoPro 3D housing. The flat lens, GoPro HD cameras and accessories are available from www.pursuitdiving.com I often get asked if it's difficult to install the flat lens in the Gopro housing. What better way to demonstrate how easy it is than by doing it outdoors, on a breezy day, with a small uneven work surface, and two lenses at once. Adding the risk factor of dropping something in the water for extra tension :-) Total install time 3:20 minutes. Video was shot with a Gopro in R5 setting, mounted on a head strap.
