All camera controls are fully functional through the housing and depth rated to 200 ft. (60m). Easy open latch and drop in camera loading make set-up a breeze Two 12-24 threaded mounts on the bottom of the housing allow for the secure, rotation-free attachment of optional trays and lightingaccessories. Trays with Release Handles Optional Tray with Release Handle(s) provide comfortable handling underwater and attachment points for substrobes and accessories. Camera's Built-in Flash An included flash diffuser improves lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used. A built-in flash is effective between1-3 feet (0.3-0.9m) from the subject in clear conditions. For best results an external underwater strobe is recommended. The 9-megapixel CMOS sensor captures still images up to 3472 x 2604 pixels, and it also offers an optional hardware interpolation that increases pixels to a 12-megapixel resolution. In addition to snapping still photos, this camera can capture video clips in up to VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels). It offers a 32 MB built-in memory, and memory can be expanded via optional SD/SDHC memory cards up to 16 GB in size.

It comes with a number of scene modes, including Sports, Night, Portrait, Landscape, and Backlight, plus Program AE. You can choose between three quality options for stills (fine, standard, and economy) and two options for video (fine and standard). Other features include a 4x digital zoom, color LCD screen, and USB connectivity.

Captured on a Canon Digital Ixus 100 IS with Canon WP-DC31 Underwater Housing and wide angle lens. Whale appears at 04:50. Sound of breathing, bubbles and our excited divemaster recorded by the camera in the housing. Today I received my new Underwater Case for my Flip UltraHD camcorder. This is the new version for Gen2 Flips. After some research I'm pretty sure a lot of people mistook the first version as being compatible with UltraHDs and as a result a lot of cameras were broken. This one seems fine however! Although it's currently only available in the USA, apparently Pure Digital faced problems with EU regulations, or so I was told in my email to them. Update: Looks like it is actually available in the UK now! I managed to source mine with thanks to Twitter.com/brandensilva (and a big thanks to everyone else who offered to help out), who purchased and shipped the item on my behalf. If you have a Flip UltraHD, and want an underwater case, make sure you buy this one: is.gd ...and not this one: is.gd (Notice the orange side button as the main visual clue) PS: Did I really fool anyone with my little trick?
